Membership

CEAWA (Career Education Association of WA) is the peak body in Western Australia for Career Development, including both Career and Enterprise Education and Vocational Education and Training (VET). Membership is drawn from primary, secondary and tertiary education sectors as well as employment groups and private providers.

Professional $88/$55

Individuals who have completed a CICA endorsed career development graduate certificate or higher.
Metropolitan $88, Rural & Remote $55 (more than 100kms from Perth)

Individuals who have not completed a CICA endorsed career development graduate certificate or higher.

Continuing Professional Development

CEAWA has introduced a continuing Professional Development program that conforms to the requirements of the Professional Standards for Australian Career Development Practitioners. These standards have been adopted by the Career Industry Council of Australia Inc. (CICA) and its member associations which includes CEAWA.

What does this look like for a Member?

  • Mapped against the Professional Standards for Australian Career Development Practitioners (the standards;
  • Accessible to all members;
  • Flexible and meets the range of practitioner needs;
  • Designed to enhance practitioners’ ability to understand, acquire, develop and maintain the competencies of the standards
  • Caters for both new and experienced members
  • Includes both formal and informal opportunities and work-based learning.
